I began diving in 1978 when I earned my jr. Open Water certification through N.A.U.I. having a family that was heavily involved in the dive industry. I participated in an openwater instructor course sponsored by N.A.U.I. Upon completion of that, I taught all levels in diving from open water through assistant Instructor, in 1992 I participated in the Y.M.C.A. Instructor scuba program. I am also a First Aid, CPR Instructor, Certified by the American Red Cross, and American Heart Association and the National Safety Council and a Certified Emergency Medical Technician (EMT).
