Fiji was FANTASTIC
Twenty seven folks from the shop joined Tony Wiley on another Fiji adventure.
It truly was a fantastic trip. For a few of the group, it was the first time traveling outside the United States. About half of the group were veteran SCUBA travelers. Two members of our group began this trip as non divers and came home certified with about twenty five dives in their log books. Three of our divers made their 100th SCUBA dive on this adventure. The most important thing is that ALL of our marry band of divers loved Fiji and the people of Fiji.
Arriving at Beqa island.
Beqa island is fairly remote, this island has no roads, no vehicles, no piers, no docks, so when you arrive at the island the boats gets as close to the island as possible and then you have to wade the rest of the way to shore. During the wading process the villagers welcome you with song and a flower lei.
The resort is beautiful. This is looking over the infinity pool at the resort.
this is the path to the Koi Pond buris. Buri's are the Fijian word for home.
